The freshmen and 8th graders had an awesome time at Six Flags today! Parents we are on our way home. We should be in Beecher City at 7:10 PM.

Reminder: Saturday is the Freshman and 8th grade trip to Six Flags. Please be at the school no later that 7:50 AM. Breakfast will be available at 7:30 AM. Students can bring cash. The park has machines to convert cash to a card. This card will be good for use outside of the park. Students will need to purchase lunch in the park. Dinner will be provided to students before we return home. We should return to the school around 7:30 PM.

Today we were able to not only celebrate the year coming to an end but also two wonderful staff members who will be retiring this year! Janet Schultz has been an elementary teacher with the district since 1988, 33 years of service. Dave Petty has been with the district as a sub bus driver/janitor since 1987 and a full time janitor since 2011. We would like to wish them a happy retirement, with many fun adventures ahead!
Yesterday, Sarah Haslett from the US Army Corps of Engineers Lake Shelbyville helped the Grade School celebrate the end of a great year. Thanks, Sarah!
Mrs. Hicks’ 7th Grade Art class created paper Mache ice cream cones. The class celebrated their last day with a delicious ice cream treat.
The greenhouse will be open Friday 12:00 - 6:30 and Saturday 7am-10 am for the annual plant sale!
